Creating Your Revision Plan Around the Time Table
Step 1: Download official time table the day it releases
Step 2: Mark exam dates on a calendar with color coding per subject
Step 3: Count gap days between each exam
Step 4: Create a day-wise revision plan: 1-day gap = quick revision; 2-3 day gap = full revision + 1 sample paper; 4+ day gap = revision + 2 sample papers
Step 5: Start the first subject’s revision 10 days before exam day 1
Practical Exams — Don’t Forget!
Practical exams happen 1-2 months BEFORE theory exams. For CBSE, practicals are in Dec-Jan. They carry 30 marks (in Science subjects) and are conducted by your own school. Do not neglect practicals — they are easy marks that directly add to your total.
What If You Miss an Exam?
Medical emergency: Apply for compartment/supplementary exam with doctor’s certificate. Failed in 1-2 subjects: Compartment exam in July-August. Failed in more than 2: Reappear next year.
